George Foster, president of Foster Marketing Communications, is the recipient of the 2003 Silver Medal Award presented by the Acadiana Advertising Federation.

Foster Marketing is a Lafayette-based business-to-business marketing, advertising and public relations firm founded in 1980, specializing in the oil and gas industry. Additionally, the firm has an office in Houston.

The Silver Medal Award is the local chapter’s highest honor, presented annually in recognition of outstanding contributions to advertising industry standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.
